Amber Heard No Longer Appearing In Aquaman 2 According to New Rumor

Depp v. Amber Heard, the former wife of Hollywood megastar Johnny Depp, was sued for defamation after she dubbed herself a "public figure representing domestic abuse" in a 2018 op-ed.

It has become a public phenomenon for Heard to be live streamed by millions of people, who are wondering how this trial will affect both sides in the future.

Recently, a jury awarded compensation and punitive damages of $15 million to Depp and $2 million to Heard in the defamation case.

During Fall 2021, she filmed most of her scenes as Mera in London for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom , where she will reprise her role as Mera.

Despite many fans siding with Depp regarding the trial, co-star Dolph Lundgren recently supported the actress after working with her for the second time under Warner Bros.

Despite Heard's support from the cast, her time as Mera may be drawing to a close.

After meeting with Warner Bros. higher-ups, Amber Heard's scenes as Mera are expected to be deleted from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

according to reliable insider KC Walsh. According to Walsh's rumor, Mera may die during childbirth at the start of the sequel, but its upcoming test screening will reveal more.

After being a leading star in the first film, she admitted that her role had already been cut during the trial against Johnny Depp.

As Jason Momoa's on-screen love interest in 2018's Aquaman, Amber Heard's Mera had more screen time than almost anyone else.

The character was clearly set up for a future in the DCEU and the underwater franchise as Arthur Curry took over the throne.

When she is absent from the movie due to an off-screen death, fans of the series may feel jarred.
