"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" was supposed to have Scarlet Witch kill more characters than she did
The actress said that Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, her character in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," would kill more.
"I struggled with it," Olsen admitted to Variety in a new interview. "Wanda is OK with ending their lives?" I asked.
She went to Doctor Strange to warn him not to interfere, but he did anyway. So I just had to take that approach."."
Olsen did not specify if the added murders would have involved existing characters in the MCU or ones that weren't in the film.
Directed by Sam Raimi, "Multiverse of Madness" is Marvel's first horror film. Wanda is responsible for many of the most horrific scenes.
In the movie, Olsen's character turns into a villain after being corrupted by the Darkhold.
America Chavez 14, is Wanda's target, who plans to take her power so she can visit her original children Billy and Tommy, first introduced in "WandaVision," in reality.
The Illuminati is a powerful group created to protect their world from threats. Wanda inhabits the body of her variant on Earth-838 in the movie's second act.
