Johnny Depp alleges Amber Heard wrote the now-famous op-ed to sell Aquaman ticket

Aquaman was linked to the op-ed by Johnny Depp and his team, they claimed.

As Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continue their legal battle, even though they are officially battling each other in a Virginia courtroom

he legal battle is showing no signs of slowing down.

During the legal proceedings, both actors have testified, most recently Heard.

She also responded to Depp's claim that she wrote the now-infamous op-ed in order to sell Aquaman tickets while testifying.

A 2018 op-ed written by Amber Heard about living with domestic abuse prompted the legal saga between the two actors.

Although the op-ed didn’t name Johnny Depp, the public quickly linked the two.

Heard told Insider it was done just to boost interest and ticket sales for James Wan's first Aquaman film.

As Amber Heard pointed out, her op-ed didn't really have the power to influence Aquaman's box office performance.
