Johnny Depp Talks With Warner Bros. About Amber Heard's Aquaman Role: "I eased their fears"

Amber Heard stated, "I got that role by auditioning. That's how that works," during cross-examination

Johnny Depp claims he helped land Amber Heard the role of Aquaman.

The actor, 58, returned to the stand on Wednesday as he testified against his ex-wife in the ongoing defamation trial.

During this final week of testimony, Depp got to respond to some matters brought up during Heard's defense

including her statement that he didn't get her the Aquaman role.

Depp responded that Heard's claim is "not exactly true."

Heard asked Depp if she could speak with Warner Bros. after she auditioned for the comic-book film, Depp testified.

"I made a phone call and I spoke to three upper-echelon Warner Bros. executives," continued Depp before an objection was sustained.
