Online petition to remove Amber Heard from 'Aquaman 2' garners over 4 million signature

Four million people have signed an online petition to remove Amber Heard from the "Aquaman 2" movie

because she has "been exposed" as a domestic abuser, says the petition's author.

Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment should and must remove Amber Heard from the Aquaman 2 project

the author wrote. "They cannot ignore the suffering of Heard's victims, and they must not glamorize domestic abuse."

When Heard wrote an opinion piece about being a survivor of domestic abuse in the Washington Post in 2018

he sued his ex-wife for $50 million for allegations he made about domestic abuse. A countersuit filed by Heard seeks $100 million in damages.

Heard has been testifying about alleged abuse that she says she suffered at Depp's hands for over a month now.

As Heard told jurors earlier in the case, through tears, "I knew I couldn't just forgive him because that would mean it will happen again."

Heard has falsely accused Depp of physical abuse and fabricated the allegations to destroy his reputation.

He said he had never committed a single act of sexual battery in his life, neither physical abuse nor physical abuse of anyone.

In closing arguments, both legal teams told jurors that a verdict in their clients' favor would restore their lives.
