Peter King Reveals His "Guess" For Colin Kaepernick, Raider
Free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick worked out with the Las Vegas Raiders last week, his first session with a team in five years.
According to reports, Kaepernick was a good thrower and the Raiders were eager to see him in action.
Currently, the 34-year-old signal caller remains unsigned.
Since 2016, when Kaepernick began protesting racial injustice during the national anthem, he has not played in the NFL.
Considering how the league has mostly avoided the former 49ers quarterback, it was remarkable that the Raiders worked him out.
Peter King of NBC Sports spoke earlier today about the Raiders' interest in Kaepernick.
Using Josh McDaniels' quote about the team "working out a ton of guys"
and his own experience covering Bill Parcells, the longtime league writer drew a conclusion.
When Kaepernick's workout was over, we outlined three possible outcomes.
There was a possibility that the Raiders wouldn't sign him right away
but might revisit his potential later this offseason or in the regular season.
