The USWNT wins the CONCACAF W Championship thanks to Alex Morgan

On Monday night, in Monterrey, Mexico, the U.S. women's national team defeated Haiti 3-0 with Alex Morgan scoring two goals.

The USWNT took a lead in the 16th minute after Haiti missed by inches at an early set piece defender.

Morgan scored a spectacular flick past goalkeeper Lara Larco after Sophia Smith's low cross from the right. 

With Kelley O'Hara's left-footed service, Morgan headed in another cross from the right seven minutes later to pad the lead.

Six minutes later, Casey Murphy was lucky not to concede a goal to Melchie Dumornay. Nérilia Mondésir was killed in the box by Emily Fox following Dumornay's clever work.

Murphy was sent the wrong way by Roselord Borgella's penalty, but it cracked off the post, letting the USWNT off
