Yellowstone's surprise casting trick can make it the best show ever

Yellowstone's 1932 casting announcement builds anticipation for a show that already has a lot of potential.

The two surprise cast members for Yellowstone's upcoming spinoff 1932 could make it the best spinoff yet for Taylor Sheridan's neo-Western universe.

Yellowstone's other spinoff 1883 focuses on the origins of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, so 1932 will carry on from 1883.

For the Yellowstone season 4 finale, Game of Thrones numbers were comparable.

Especially after 1883's consistently positive reception, it's only natural that more Yellowstone spinoffs will continue building the Dutton family legacy.

The known details surrounding Yellowstone's 1932 spinoff indicate that the Dutton Ranch will have a new set of characters.

In the same vein as its historical Western sister series 1883, 1932 will be based on real events

and characters from the 1930s to create a dramatized version of that time period.

The official logline of 1932 indicates that the show will focus on " Western Expansion, Prohibition, and the Great Depression," a hint at the turmoil the Dutton Ranch will have to face in its debut season.
